How hard is it to get a git hash collision?

Emacs' git repo hasn't been touched for half a year. So just type bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/emacs/trunk emacs!

The stable branch — something the homepage never mentions — lives at http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/emacs/emacs-23/.

Importing a Git repo into Subversion — the short version

Unfortunately, migrating in this direction is nowhere near as polished as the other way around: timestamps don't line up and tags are missing.

You can of course do it the long way.
