Just a quick note: I moved my virtual server from Hosteurope to Linode, because everything at HE was getting extremely slow. A Python web app was unusable, because even the simplest views took over 500ms to render!

At Linode, everything is running smoothly again, even though the network RTT is about 10-15ms higher (it’s London instead of Cologne).

Bonnie confirms this: 10 times the IO throughput, 4½ times the IOps – and that at a comparable price.
